Filmgate started in 2006 and within that time we have worked on over 40 feature films in ten different countries. No digital visual effects company in Sweden has ever had such a prolific beginning. This has been achieved by a combination of our creative and highly experienced artists, competitive prices and dedication that is second to none in getting the best results for all productions, big or small. Through our work we have established an international reputation, which has led us to working with up and coming directors from around the world as well as Academy award winning Producers and Cinematographers.

We can therefore confidently state whatever the type of project from independent to high end blockbuster productions, we have the practical experience and versatility of an acutely seasoned cunning fox to deliver high end visual effects and logical solutions at production friendly costs. From HD/RED/OCN to final print, we and our partners in Scandinavia will be able to assist all film makers in their picture post requirements where ever they are in the world!

During 2009 Filmgate amassed considerable experience with the RED Camera (visual effects, conform and grade), through numerous feature films such as "Antichrist", "Apan", "Twisted Roots" and "Kenny Begins". In 2009 we co-produced our first feature film "Kenny Begins" (with over 630 vfx shots). This has now led to us being involved with two other projects, as co-production partners, the feature film "Bröderna Karlsson" and a pilot TV series "Sandhamn". Both are currently in production and are scheduled for airing and release early 2010.
